Fredia Bernice Kemp

Fredia B. Kemp, 92, of Fredericktown, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Madison Medical Center. She was born Feb. 11, 1923 in Reynolds County, daughter of Herbert and Agnes (Johnson) Cannady.

She married Arlie Kemp in August 1948. He preceded her in death.

Also preceding Mrs. Kemp in death are her parents and brother Harold Cannady.

Survivors include son Larry (Linda) Kemp of Fredericktown; and granddaughters Morgan (Carson) Burks of Fenton and Courtney Kemp of Fredericktown.

Mrs. Kemp was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed Cardinal Baseball, needlework, and spending time with her grandchildren.

A graveside service took place Sept. 14 at Marcus Memorial Park with Pastor Tom Johnson officiating.
