Benjamin Gainer

FARMINGTON — God saw that you were getting weary so He did what He thought best, He came and stood beside you and whispered “Come and rest.”

On Thursday, November 12, 2015, Benjamin Paul Gainer, age 57, fell asleep in the arms of the Lord. Ben was born in Bonne Terre, Missouri, on March 18, 1958. Ben was preceded in death by his wife, Carol ‘Goodrich’ Gainer and his father, Dale C. Gainer.

Survivors include a son, Shawn Gainer and a daughter, Elizabeth Gainer, both of Farmington. Parents: Rev. Ralph Burris and Gladys Burris, of Ft. Worth, Texas. Two sisters, Vici Mason, of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Sherry Killian, of Doe Run. A brother, Dale Gainer, of Doe Run. A step-mother, Jo Ann Gainer, of Doe Run and a loving host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Memorial Visitation starts, Friday at 8:30 a.m. at Taylor Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., Farmington. A ‘Celebration of Life’ service will be held at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Nathaniel Molter officiating. Private interment later at Marcus Memorial Cemetery, Fredericktown. Memorials to: The Benjamin Paul Gainer family.
