Audrey Boyd

CHESTERFIELD — Mrs. Audrey ‘Pinkston’ Boyd, 95, passed away November 19, 2015, at the GardenView Care Center, in Chesterfield. Audrey was born March 28, 1920, in St. Francois County, and the daughter of Roy G. Pinkston and Myrtle E. ‘Patterson’ Pinkston. Also preceding in death were: her husband, Austin W. Boyd (2010), and a sister, Leola Babb.

Audrey was a longtime, faithful member of Farmington First FreeWill Baptist Church and a retired Elementary School Teacher with Farmington R-VII Schools.

Survivors include: a son, Gerald L. “Jerry” (and Bonnie) Boyd, of Ballwin, Missouri; a sister, Joanne (and Calvin) Milburn, of Bismarck. Two grandchildren, Julia (and Art) Bird, of Kansas; Matthew (and Jessica) Boyd, of St. Louis. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Visitation Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., Farmington. Visitation resumes Wednesday, 6:30 a.m. and funeral Wednesday, 11 a.m., November 25, 2015, at Taylor Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Roger Hogan officiating.
