Fletcher graduates from Marine Corps boot camp

Private William C. Fletcher, 19, of Farmington graduated from United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego on Dec. 11.

Pvt. Fletcher successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego as one of 549 recruits in Mike Company Training Platoon 3262. While in recruit training Pvt. Fletcher qualified as an Expert Marksman.

Following three weeks home on leave he will report to Camp Pendleton for one month at Military Combat Training then Military Occupation Specialty school.
