James William Campbell
PARK HILLS – James William Campbell, 92, of Esther passed away January 15, 2016, at Eureka. He was born September 10, 1923, at Flat River.
James was a member and Deacon at Esther Baptist Church; and graduated with the Esther High School Class of 1942.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace (Winebarger) Campbell; parents, William Preston Campbell and Edith Florence (Hart) Campbell; brothers, Charles Glendon Campbell and Leon Junior Campbell; sisters, Selma Irene Campbell Meador, Ollie Geraldine Campbell Garstenschlager, and Ellen Leona Campbell Sherman
James is survived by his daughters, Wanda Campbell Carroll and husband Brad, and Deborah Nations; grandchildren, Jeneane Mintman, and husband Chris, and Joe Nations, and Frank; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Mintman and Anthony Huebner Nations. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Esther Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Banderman and Todd Buck officiating. Burial will be at Maberry Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association and/or Esther Baptist Church.
