Melba Stevens

DESLOGE — Melba Stevens, 78, of Bismarck, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016. She was born April 10, 1937 in St. Louis.

Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her parents, Oren O’Bryan and Gladys (Shaw) O’Bryan; daughter, Mary McAulay; sister, Judith O’Bryan; brother, David “Buster” O’Bryan; and grandson, Timothy Paul Lococo

Melba is survived by her spouse, Arthur “Art” Stevens; children, Arthur V. Stevens, Ronald (Rebecca) Stevens; brothers, Dale (Marge) O’Bryan, and Johnny (Mary) O’Bryan; grandchildren, Jason Stevens, Shawn (Caitlyn) Stevens, Angie Barks, Rachel Ervin, Crystal (Brian) Elkins; 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Melba Stevens will be Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 4-9 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service will be Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, with Rev. Matthew Sheckles officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
