Cletus Wayne Wampler
PARK HILLS — Cletus Wampler, 67, of Perryville, formerly of Marquand passed away Monday, April 25, 2016, at his residence. He was born Sunday, June 20, 1948, in Elvins. Cletus enjoyed farming and fishing. He was passionate about serving as an Alcoholics Anonymous Sponsor for over 28 years, and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus with all of his heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Wampler and son, Steve Wampler.
Cletus is survived by his mother, Norma Wampler; daughter Carla Schawnz and husband Karl; grandchildren, Stephanie Rhodes and husband Nick, Leah Brown and husband Jon, and Toni Crabtree; six great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Lisa Wampler; brother, Randy Wampler; sister, Delores Sampson; he was the beloved brother-in-law of Barb, Michael, Mark, and Shelia; nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2016, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills. Service will be Friday, April 29, 2016, at 11 a.m. with the Pastor Jim Kiefer officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington, Missouri.
