Nelda P. Bleckler
PARK HILLS — Nelda P. Bleckler, 82, of Desloge passed away May 3, 2016, at Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre. She was born February 23, 1934, at Flat River. Nelda was a lifetime member of VFW Post 2426 Ladies Auxiliary; Past National President of American War Mothers; and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Bible and Esther (Holley) Bible; her husband, Eugene F. Bleckler; son, John D. Bleckler; granddaughter, Deborah Kyle; two step-grandchildren, Sarah Barrett and Adam Coleman; great-grandson, Michael Magner; and brothers and sisters.
Nelda is survived by her children, Frances (Genia) Barrett and husband Mike, Nelda Ann Anderson, Donald Bleckler and Roy Bleckler; 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Howard Bible and wife Jackie, and Ivan Bible and wife Sue; sister, Linda Watts and her husband.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills with Rev. Neal Stegall officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
