North County High School registration starts Thursday

Starting Thursday the North County High School will begin registration.

The days and times are broken down into groups by year and last name. Seniors with last names that begin with A-K can register Thursday from 8 to 11 a.m. and seniors L-Z can register Thursday from noon to 3 p.m.

On Friday, juniors can register 8 to 11 a.m. and sophomores will register from noon to 3 p.m. On Monday freshmen A-K can register from 8 to 11 a.m. and freshman from L-Z can register from noon to 3 p.m.

The North County School District will re-open for the 2016-17 school year on Aug. 18 and an open house will be on Aug. 15 at the North County Middle School (grades 7-8) from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

North County Primary will host a Kindergarten and Early Childhood open house on Aug. 16 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Bus drivers will be available should anyone have any transportation questions or concerns.

Students and parents at North County Parkside Elementary and Intermediate School will have the opportunity to see the classrooms and meet their teachers on Aug. 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for grades 3-6.

On Aug. 17, students and parents will have the opportunity to see the classrooms and meet their teachers at the North County Primary from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for grades 1-2. North County High School will sponsor an open house the first day of school, Aug. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by the Raider Rally at 7 p.m. on the Football Field.

Building time schedules will be listed in the student handbooks. Students will be allowed to enter all buildings at 7 a.m.

Breakfast and lunch will be served in the cafeterias located at each attendance center. School officials request that parents encourage children to participate in the Breakfast and Lunch Program.

North St. Francois County R-I will continue to participate in the national free and reduced meals program. Information regarding this program will be distributed to students on or before Aug. 18 and families must complete a new application each school year.

School buses are scheduled to travel the same basic routes as last year and may be found on the district webpage (www.ncsd.k12.mo.us). If you have any questions, please contact the Administration Office at 431-3300, Ext. 6, then Ext. 3.

New students will need to register by appointment only with the Registrar’s Office at 573-358-8830.
