Farmington City Council

The Farmington City Council meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers, located at 110 W. Columbia St. The meeting is open to the public.

Thursday

Christmas Parade

The Park Hills-Leadington Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade will start in Leadington and end at Park Hills Sports Complex. It will begin with activities at 6 p.m. and the parade at 7 p.m.

Saturday

Desloge Christmas in the Park

The annual Desloge Christmas in the Park takes place from 1-3 p.m. in Desloge City Park. The free event offers activities for the children, Christmas goodies, carriage rides and a visit with Santa Claus. The entire event is free and sponsored by the Desloge Library Board.

Christmas at the Depot

Bismarck’s annual “Christmas at the Depot” returns to the delight children of all ages and will feature a first-ever addition to the free event — a parade with the theme, “A Griswold Christmas,” that begins at 5 p.m. Other activities, including the annual lighting of the city Christmas tree, takes place immediately afterwards.

AV Christmas Parade

The Arcadia Valley Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Arcadia Valley Chamber of Commerce, begins at 5 p.m. and travels from the Town and Country grocery store to Meadow Heights Church. The evening will feature float judging and prizes; area vendors; pictures with Santa; and a citywide scavenger hunt.
