Christmas Calendar
The Madison County Salvation Army annual fundraising campaign has begun and the group is still seeking local volunteers. So far, $14,234.26 has been raised towards the 2016 goal of $35,000. “The support of the whole community has been wonderful,” Campaign Chairperson Sharron Tinnin said. Tinnin requests the help of community members to come out and ring the bell in front of the Fredericktown Walmart store. The time blocks are usually two-hour increments and can be for more than one person. However, organizers recommend two people for each time block. Volunteers should contact Becky Hunt at 573-783-1131 or on the Salvation Army Facebook page. Monetary donations are welcome, as well. Anyone who wishes to donate can contact Sharron Tinnin at 573-783-5596.
