Park Hills City Council meets tonight

The Park Hills City Council will meet tonight at 6 p.m. for a regular session in the municipal court chambers at city hall, located at 9 Bennett St.

First on the agenda will be a public hearing to gather citizen comments on the annexation of property located at 4773 Flat River Rd. into the city limits, as requested by owners Gary and Clara Busenbark.

Josh Long, a resident of Park Hills, is scheduled to address the council concerning administration and building inspection matters.

In unfinished business, the council will consider a list of street improvement projects.

In new business, two bills will be considered along with a design agency for a trail head project, a Missouri Highway Safety Program for traffic enforcement, a land conveyance agreement and the appointment of a council member to fill the unexpired term in Ward 4.

Along with a mayor and council member discussion period, City Administrator Matt Whitwell will give reports on the city’s Parks and Recreation, Public Works and Utilities departments.

The meeting is open to the public.
