District holds kindergarten enrollment

The Farmington R-7 School District is holding kindergarten registration March 21-24.

Enrollment will be held at Truman Learning Center, located at 209 W. College St.

The child must be five years of age before Aug. 1, 2017 to enroll for the 2017-18 school year.

Children with last names beginning with A-M should enroll between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on March 21 and 22.

Children with last names beginning with N-Z should enroll between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on March 23 and 24.

Please bring a state-issued birth certificate, immunization record and proof of residency (property tax, utility bill or rental agreement) to the enrollment.

Children currently enrolled in the preschool at Truman Learning Center will not need to register for Kindergarten. Those not planning to have their child attend kindergarten at the Truman Learning Center are asked to call 701-1370 as soon as possible.

All parents must attend the updated enrollment in August to go over information on file for the student and find out what class the child will be in for the school year. Dates and times for the updated enrollment session will be on the district’s website in the next couple of weeks. The address is www.fsdknights.com.
