Fall time in Fredericktown means Farmalls, Friends

The time has finally arrived. JP’s 16th Midwest Cub-Arama tractor show is scheduled to kick off Thursday in Jaycee/Priest Park in downtown Fredericktown.

However, as you drive around town you may notice many trailers full of red tractors already proudly entering our town. There will be International Harvester items rolling in from 15-plus states.  The number of International Harvester items will once again be close to or more than 200.

It’s not too late to bring your tractor. You will need to register to show it or bring your extra International Harvester items into the swap meet, however, there is no cost for spectators. You may obtain a registration at the show, just visit the main pavilion in Azalea Park.

Set up will begin Sept. 28 and the show is for Sept. 29-30 opening at 8 a.m. and running until around 5 p.m. both days. There is no admission fee so come look around and have a good time. Come and enjoy a wonderful tradition of Farmall and Friends in Fredericktown as we celebrate our Sweet 16 show.

The show will again feature all the different model Cub and Cub Cadet tractors and implements produced as well as all the other International Harvester items manufactured over the years as we open the show to all. There will be many great events including a swap meet, International Harvester vendors selling new and used parts, field demonstrations, how to clinics, parade, concessions, kiddie tractor pull, adult games, including the slow tractor race, door prizes, raffles, and much more.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday and will start in the Park on North Main and will progress up to the Court Square. It will then make a right and travel down West Main turn right on Buford and then travel along the soccer fields before making a right on Murta. It will then make a final right back on to North Main. Feel free to sit along the route for an excellent view of the Parade Of Power.

Even if you do not have an International Harvester or Cub Cadet tractor or truck, there is plenty to do and see. There is NO cost for spectators, so come to Azalea/Priest park and enjoy the day or full weekend of International Harvester related family fun.
