FARMINGTON – Mrs. Mabel ‘Graham’ Eaves, 93, passed away November 14, 2017, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. Mabel was born February 20, 1924, in Libertyville, and was the daughter of Raymond Chester Graham and Antonia Elizabeth ‘Detring’ Graham. Also preceding in death were: her five year old daughter, Beverly Ann Eaves (1964); three brothers, William F. “Bill” Graham; Eugene Lawrence Graham, and Chester A. Graham.
Mabel was a member of Libertyville Methodist Church and enjoyed her family, reading, sewing and friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan “Joni” Elizabeth (Larry) Hutchings, of Farmington; A brother, L. Max (Ruth) Graham, of Libertyville; Sister-in-law, Malva Graham, of Farmington; Two grandchildren, Mark Wayne (Whitney) Hutchings, of Farmington, and Lori Ann (Aaron) Steinmann, of O’Fallon, Missouri; Also surviving are two great-grandsons, Jordan and Tate Hutchings. Many nieces and nephews and a special little friend, Heidi, who always stayed by her side.
Visitation starts Monday at 11 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington. Funeral Monday, 1 p.m., November 20, 2017, at Taylor Funeral Chapel. Interment follows at Libertyville Christian Cemetery. Memorials to: St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital &/or Libertyville Christian Cemetery, Maintenance Fund.
