Gerry Gould

BONNE TERRE — Geraldine “Gerry” H. Gould, 85, of Terre Du Lac passed away January 2, 2018, at Country Meadows Nursing Center in Park Hills. She was born August 23, 1932, in St. Louis. Gerry brought joy to everyone she met. She loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending her time fishing, dancing and playing bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jord and Martha (Carroll) Nease; first husband, James Edward Roach; sister, Lucille Turnbo.

Gerry is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Patricia “Pat” Basinger and husband Otis of Bonne Terre; two grandchildren, Christine Basinger-Hartwick and Donna Collier; five great-grandchildren, Nick Basinger, Lauren Hartwick, Lydia Collier, Annie Collier and Bryan Basinger; one great-great-granddaughter, Ariah Basinger. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Pastor Rick Chilton officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park.
