Kenneth Henry Kell, Sr.
DESLOGE — Kenneth “Ken” Kell, Sr., 81, of Bismarck, passed away suddenly on January 7, 2018, at Parkland Hospital. He was the son of the late Anvil Franklin and Anna Viola (Martin) Kell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Delmer Kell.
Ken proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge 349 in Bismarck and AMVETS Post #113 in Farmington. He was a former Deputy with the Bismarck Police Department and retired from L.P. Gas as a service technician. He enjoyed fishing, camping and was an avid hunter.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Rose Marie (Driemeier) Kell; children, Rosanna Nash, Rebecca Goodson, Kenny Kell, Jr. and wife Debbie, Reva Cole and husband Curtis; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Liz Hartley, Mickey Driemeier, Jimmy Kell and Willa Willis are all left to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, January 9, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. The service will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, with Pastor Mike Barton officiating. Interment will follow at Bismarck Masonic Cemetery in Bismarck with full military honors. The family asks that memorials can be made to The National Autism Association.
