Lady Cats lose at Notre Dame, boys fall to Knights
The Fredericktown High School Girls Basketball Team lost 62-16, Thursday, at (Cape Girardeau) Notre Dame.
Fredericktown trailed 21-11 after one quarter and 38-11 at halftime.
Callista Francis led the Lady Cats with 13 points. Maddie Burrows scored two, and Mallory Mathes had one.
The Lady Cats host North County, Thursday.
Farmington tops Blackcats
The Fredericktown High School Boys Basketball Team lost its MAAA Large-School opener, 73-35 to Farmington, Friday night, here.
The Knights (7-5, 1-0) raced to a 25-5 lead after one quarter, and led 39-11 at halftime over the Cats (5-9, 0-1).
Fredericktown is at Potosi, Friday night.
