Stephen Gerald Dowd

Stephen Gerald Dowd, 41, of Fredericktown, died Friday, December 29, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri. He was born August 20, 1976 in Farmington, son of Melvin and Regina (Merriman) Dowd who survive in Fredericktown.

Other surviviors include son Hunter Dowd of Patton; daughters Hattie Renee Dowd also of Patton and Jozie Dowd of Fredericktown; brother Jerren (Misty) Dowd of Boone Terre; sister Alisia (Ryan) Johnston of Festus, and several nieces and nephews.

Stephen was a forklift driver at Gilster-Marylee in Perryville. He enjoyed taking walks in the woods, listening to music and playing his guitar, watching animals and spending time with his family.

Funeral services were January 4, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Cody Alley and Pastor Ryan Johnston officiating.

Internment was in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Fredericktown.
