Trivia night planned to support band program

A trivia night is scheduled for Jan. 20 at Central High School, with the proceeds to go toward the Central High School Band.

Shanna Hart said doors for the event will open at 6 p.m. with trivia getting underway at 7 p.m.

“We’ll have chili, drinks and desserts included with the cost of admission,” Hart said.

She said the band has not hosted a trivia night before, but proceeds will go toward the regular operations of the Central band program.

“It supports us with contests and anything else that may come up,” she said. “It’s to help support the program as a whole.”

The $20 admission cost will include ten rounds of trivia and refreshments. There is an eight person per table maximum.
