Charles D. Barlow, Jr. graduates from basic training

Air Force Airman Charles D. Barlow, Jr., graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland, San Antonio, Texas, on October 26, 2017.

The Airman completed an intensive eight week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Charles graduated as Airman First Class.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Airman First Class Barlow is the son of Chuck and Jana Barlow of Fredericktown. He is a 2017 graduate of Fredericktown High School, and is currently stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi, training as a meteorologist.
