Mork named BHS student of the month

The Farmington Elks Lodge 1765 has announced that Timothy Mork has been selected Bismarck High School student of the month for January.

The son of Shawn and Michelle Mork, he has been awarded Academic All-State and been rewarded as a top finisher in MAP and EOC testing. Mork also attended Missouri Boys State.

He is president of the ILC Committee, yearbook president and vice-president of the BHS senior class. Mork has been a member of National Honor Society since 2015,as well as a member of JAG and Scholar Bowl. He has participated in numerous other activities including baseball, basketball, hunting, fishing and part-time employment.

Mork plans to attend Mineral Area College to complete his associates of arts degree and then intends to transfer to the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla to complete a degree in mechanical engineering.

For his selection as BHS student of the month will receive $100 and compete for the lodge Elks Student of the Year to be awarded in May 2018.
