‘Transformation Time’ topic for February Women’s Connection

Laura Berkerey, paintologist, of The Painted Chair in Farmington will be the Special Feature at the Feb. 13 Women’s Connection brunch, held from 9:15 to 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 210 North A Street, Farmington.

She will demonstrate wood furniture and fabric painting techniques and the versatility of chalk paint.

“Chalk paint covers everything, but not all chalk paint is equal!”, she said.

Guest speaker is Peggy Bienefeld, a nurse from St. Louis who works on a Senior Legacy Project encouraging seniors to remain active in their communities with emphasis on providing additional options for continuation of care so that seniors can age in place.

She will share her adventures “Along the Rivers Edge” where she met some of her greatest challenges and learned some of the most meaningful lessons of life.

For a $10 delicious brunch and exciting speakers, call required reservations/cancellations to Joan at 756-7226 or Lucy at 573-562-7492.
