Central QB Bland Chooses MacMurray

Central High School senior Jace Bland recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play football and pursue a career in Special Education at MacMurray College, a NCAA Division III program in Jacksonville, Ill. Bland picked up Class 3 all-state honors, and was named Offensive MVP of the MAFC White Division after notching 34 combined touchdowns and guiding the Rebels to a 12-1 record last season as a two-year starting quarterback. Also seated are his parents Jeff and Kim Bland. Standing from left to right are Central assistant coach Mark Casey, brother Blake Nephew, Central assistant coach P.J.
