Blake Scott Taft

Blake Scott Taft was born on July 22, 1952 at St. Louis, Missouri the son of David Harley and Bernice (Johnson) Taft and passed away on February 11, 2018 at Fredericktown at the age of 65 years.

Mr. Taft was preceded in death by his parents and brother David Harley Taft Jr.

Survivors include his wife Jerry Ann (Huffman) Taft whom he married December 1, 1993 in Fredericktown; sisters Donna (David) Short of Potosi and Vickie (Tim) Short of Washington, Missouri; and nieces Heather and Brooke. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Anna Mae Huffman of Fredericktown and in-laws Tim (Karen) Huffman of St. Louis, Sue (Dave) Mitchell of Fredericktown, Jane (Alan) Kopitsky of Fredericktown, and Mike (Margie) Huffman of Ironton.

Blake enjoyed music, playing guitar, barbecuing, collecting memorabilia, and walking.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Follis & Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Gibson officiating. Interment was at the Christian Cemetery.
