Helen Marie Gipson

Helen Marie Gipson, 84, of Fredericktown, died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 19, 1933 in Lodi, Missouri, a daughter of Duffy and Vina (Evans) Easley.

On August 23, 1950, she married James Gipson. He preceded her in death March 22, 2008.

Mrs. Gipson’s parents; sons Bobby Gene Sr., Roger and Ronnie Gipson; and one great-granson also preceded her.

She is survived by daughter Becky (Eric) Boushie of Fredericktown; grandchildren Bobbie Gipson Jr., Derrick Gipson, Erica Mills, Erin Couch and Chassity Gipson; several great-grandchildren; sister Eunice Adams of Fredericktown; and sister-in-law Pat Easley also of Fredericktown.

Helen was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, watching the hummingbirds, listening to music and singing karoke at the nursing home.

Funeral services were Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Bess officiating. Interment was at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown.
