Fredericktown fourth graders present ‘Education Rocks’
Fredericktown Intermediate School fourth grade students presented the musical program “Education Rocks,” before a capacity crowd, March 28, at Kelly A. Burlison Middle School.
The students were under the direction of conductor Tracy King.
The program opened with announcers Walker Smith, Miley Wengler, and Rider Warden and the song “Test Me.”
The next song, “I Think I’ll Think Twice,” featured announcers Lyndee Hinkle, Allie Clark, and Reid Simmons, and soloist Isaac Rolens.
“Rap of the States” showed students knowledge of all 50 states and their capitols. It had announcers Samson Gitonga and Xander Cassidy and soloist Carter Hale.
“We Appreciate You” included announcers Isaiah Mayhew, Greyson Shoemake, Jadyn Yount, Douglas Hicks, and Conner Gordon.
Lisa Lewis was the accompanist and Kenadie Warden the announcer for “Inscription of Hope.”
Seth Lawson and Lauryn Mell were the announcers for “Pizza Love” with soloist Braylon Barnett.
The program closed with the title song, “Education Rocks.” The announcer was Tallyn Miller.
