MADISON COUNTY COMMISSION MINUTES

March 26, 2018 the Madison County Commission met. In attendance were Presiding Commissioner Robert (Bob) Mooney, First District Commissioner Tom Stephens and Second District Commissioner Larry Kemp. County Clerk Don Firebaugh recorded the proceedings.

ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT

Road and Bridge Department Supervisor Gregg Pruett said the department is currently boom-axing county roads. The commissioners gave him the list of county roads they have found that needed repaired.

COMMISSIONER REPORTS

Stephens checked on the condition of county roads last week, including several blacktopped roads in District One.

Kemp also checked some county roads last week.

All three commissioners checked the bridge on CR 228. They also visited the Road and Bridge Department.

Mooney and Kemp met with the CTS group at the courthouse to inspect and evaluate some energy efficiency projects.

Mooney and Pruett participated in a conference call with FEMA to close out the April 2018 flood project.

SPORTS COMPLEX AGREEMENT

The intergovernmental agreement between the City of Fredericktown and Madison County was received by the county attorney and reviewed. The Commission will be attending the Fredericktown City Council meeting tonight where the agreement will be signed.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Accounts payable were presented for approval. Commissioner Stephens made a motion to approve paying the accounts as presented. Commissioner Kemp seconded the motion. The motion carried by vote.

No further business was transacted March 26, 2018, and Mooney adjourned the meeting at 10:32 a.m.
