Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday at 11:10 a.m. on Route P in Washington County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gracia Purler, 21, of Belgrade, was driving her 2005 Kia Sorento southbound on Route P north of Bates Creek Road when she lost control of her vehicle on the wet roadway.
Purler slid across the centerline and into the path of Adam Rybar, 49, of St. Louis, who was driving his 2002 Mazda Tribute northbound on Route P. Purler’s Sorento struck Rybar’s Tribute. Both vehicles were totaled.
Purler was moderately injured and Rybar received minor injuries. Both were taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital by Washington County Ambulance. Both parties were wearing their seat belts.
