Three pound pups, 14 cats are ready to take home

Thirteen cats at the Farmington Pound; and three dogs and a cat at the Park Hills Pound are seeking their owners or new homes where they can be loved and cared for.

Female calico cat is 1-2 years old.

Gray and white cat is 1-2 years old and its gender is unknown.

Black and white cat is 1-2 years old and its gender is unknown.

Male tabby cat is friendly.

Black cat may need a barn home and its gender is unknown.

Black cat is 9 months old and its gender is unknown. It may need a barn home.

Tabby/white blue-eyed cat may need a barn home. Its gender is unknown.

Female calico cat is friendly. It is on stray hold until May 12.

Gray cat is friendly.

Female orange cat is 9 months old and friendly.

Male black and white cat may need a barn home.

Park Hills Pound

Male Rottweiler mix is 2-4 years old. The animal control officer says the dog is very friendly. He’s been in the pound for over a month and is desperate for a loving home.

Female pit bull mix is 6-8 months old. He is still just a puppy and would love a forever family.

Male lab mix is 1-3 years old. The officer says he is very friendly and also housebroken.

Female gray cat is very friendly.

To give owners the opportunity to claim them, dogs and cats are kept for seven days at the Park Hills and Farmington pounds; and five days at the Desloge and Leadwood pounds. After that, they are eligible for adoption or euthanasia. There are no adoption fees, but rescuers are required by the Missouri Department of Agriculture to sign a spay / neuter / vaccination commitment.
