Local author holds book signing at library

A book signing to introduce “Three for Hire: Soldiers for Justice,” the latest book by local author and rancher Dan Burle Sr., will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Farmington Public Library, located at 101 N. A St.

In addition to his newest book, Burle will have his eight previous books on hand and available for purchase. They include Three for Hire: Gunslingers on the Santa Fe; Three for Hire: The Shadow Assassins; Three for Hire: Revenge of the Mescalero Apache; Three for Hire: Tombstone, The Lethal Connection; Frontier Justice; Frontier Justice: Across the Rio Grande; and L.O.L. Ranch Stories.

Burle, who lives with his wife on a ranch outside Bonne Terre, has been “Exclusive Western Cowboy Novelist” for seven years running at the Cowboy Festival held at Silver Dollar City in Branson.
