Dorothy Simino
DESLOGE — Dorothy Simino, 88, of Farmington, passed away May 24, 2018, at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington. She was born February 18, 1930, in Bismarck, to the late Floyd and Martha (McDowell) Gamblin. Dorothy was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Park Hills.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul James Simino; brother, Gene Gamblin, and son-in-law, Joe Wisdom.
Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Donna McFarland and husband Dave of Desloge, and Paula Wisdom of Potosi; five grandchildren, Scott (Lanie) McFarland, Chris (Heather) McFarland, Paul (Gina) Wisdom, Jason (Kari) Wisdom, and Joe (Jeannie) Wisdom; eleven great-grandchildren and one on the way in August; two great-great-grandchildren and one on the way in October; siblings, Pete (Wilma) Gamblin, Delores Isgriggs, Helen Langley, Alma Mae Hartzel, Virgil (Jo) Gamblin, Alice (Cliff) Gamblin, Ray (Annie) Gamblin, Sharon Goodson, Barbara (Bill) Henson, and Freida (Fonda) Henson; many nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. The visitation will resume Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. The service will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Mark S. Ebert officiating. Interment will follow at Bismarck Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be directed to the American Heart Association.
