Rickey Quevreaux

BONNE TERRE — Rickey Quevreaux Sr., 62, of Bonne Terre Missouri, passed away on Friday June 8, 2018, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital. He was born on March 27, 1956, to the late Clarence Robert Quevreaux and Myrtle Kathryn Hartzell in Webster Groves. Rickey was a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church and took pride in raising money for different causes he believed in. He was a member of and founded the Leadbelt Cruisers. His most beloved hobby was restoring classic cars. His most prized possession and love was his little doggy Ava, who now lives with his daughter.

In addition to his parents, Rickey was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy “Cricket” (DeClue) Quevreaux.

Rickey is survived by his children Melissa (Keith) Quevreaux, Rickey Quevreaux Jr., and Charles Quevreaux; two step children, Angel (Jerry) and Steve Moore Jr.; grandchildren, Austin, Maddie, and Kamron; seven bonus grandchildren; brother, Clarence Quevreaux; his doggy Ava; and many other family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 13, 2018, from 3 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Pastor Roy Kaylor officiating. His children have decided to keep some of his cremated remains close to heart and scatter some cremated remains next to his beloved wife “Cricket” on a later date at Bonne Terre cemetery.
