The Fredericktown Branch of the Ozark Regional Library held a program on Native American artifacts at 6 p.m., June 7 where a local private collector brought in his collections of pieces from Madison County and from Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. The library will continue the Summer Rock Series at 6 p.m., June 21 with “Madison County Mining History Part One: Getting the Lead Out,” presented by Tony Starr on the discovery of lead and the story of its exploitation in prehistoric and historical time. The Summer Reading Program will also continue with Story Time “Exploring Asia” at 10:30 a.m and “Breakout EDU” at 3 p.m., June 21.
