Norma Jean (Samples) Rottler

STE. GENEVIEVE — Norma Jean (Samples) Rottler of Ste. Genevieve departed this life October 9, 2018, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital at the age of 87 years. She was born October 12, 1930, in Ste. Genevieve to the late Francis and Marie (Blankenship) Samples. Also preceded in death by her husband, Robert ‘Bob’ Rottler; brother, Tom Samples; and daughter-in-law, Christine Rottler.

Norma is survived by her children, Terry (Charlene) Rottler, Steve Rottler, and Marcia (Rick) Schaefer, all of Ste. Genevieve and Julie (Kelly) Whitaker of Columbia, MO. Ten Grandchildren, Jeff (Greta) Rottler, Karen Rottler, Lisa (Mike) Albin, Sarah Rottler, Matt (Samantha) Rottler, Megan (Kenai) Hattori, Mark Rottler, Kyle (Rikki) Schaefer, Andrew Whitaker, and Allen Whitaker, and five Great grandchildren, Charlie and Callie Rottler, Kade and Reagan Rottler and Harper Schaefer. Other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Wood Family Funeral Home, Ste. Genevieve. Funeral Service 10 a.m., Thursday, October 11, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church with Pr. Steve Matthews officiating. Interment Crestlawn Cemetery. Memorials to First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, Lewy Body Dementia Association or First Presbyterian Church Blessing Box.
