Fredericktown License Office closes

The Fredericktown License Office closed its doors Oct. 12.

It is unknown when or if the office will re-open. According to dor.mo.gov the office will be closed until further notice.

The next closest offices are the Farmington License Office at 103 Walker Rd. in Farmington, the Arcadia Valley License Office at 203 Maple St. B in Pilot Knob and the Perryville License Office at 624 B N. Old St. Marys Rd. in Perryville.

Owners of Lee Insurance Agencies and the Fredericktown License Office Ken and Debbi Lee say they have decided to not renew their contract with the Department of Revenue and will instead expand on their insurance services at Lee Insurance Agencies.

Ken and Debbi were the Department of Revenue contract managers for the License Bureau for more than 13 years, having been awarded the contract in 2005, 2009 and 2014.

Debbi said she wants to ensure people know that Lee Agencies is still open and will remain at 135 W. Main in Fredericktown as it has for more than 25 years.

Ken and Debbi said they would like to take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Madison County for their patronage over the past several years.

“We will continue to offer the insurance services with the same integrity, honesty and principles that we have offered in the past 25 years,” Debbi said. “We are an independent agency offering a full line of insurance products.”

The Fredericktown License Office which once shared a building with Lee Insurance Agency is closed until further notice. Lee Insurance Agency is still operating as usual.
