The 2019 Hoops with our Heroes Champion is Marquand-Zion School District.

The annual Hoops with Our Heroes basketball tournament to benefit the Heroes on Holiday Patrol program was March 1, at Kelly A. Burlison Middle School. Teams competed in a basketball tournament to raise money for the organization which provides local youth in need a holiday shopping trip. Six teams competed. Black River Electric Cooperative team is pictured here battling against the Fredericktown Police and Fire Coalition team. Other teams included Marquand, Country Mart, Surshine and Fredericktown Blackcats.
