Missing teen located
A reunion of sorts was held Wednesday evening.
John “Isaiah” Robinson, 16, of Farmington, who had been missing since March 20, was located Wednesday afternoon.
John’s mother, Nina Robinson, told the Daily Journal that police were able to finally locate John by pinging his cell phone.
“Right now John is at a local hospital being checked by physicians and undergoing tests to make sure he is okay,” said Nina. “At this time, John appears to be well.”
The teen had last been seen when he left his house at about 8:45 a.m. on a Wednesday morning.
Police had received reports that he could still be in the Farmington area or possibly in Bonne Terre.
Word of the search for the missing teen had been circulated regularly on social media.
John and Nina Robinson sent the following message to the community:
“We would like to thank the members of the community for their efforts, thought, and prayers during this difficult time. We especially thank the Farmington Police Department, Trucks 4 Kidz, and the Farmington UPS Store for donating the flyers.”
