Vinson named FHS ‘Student of the Month’

Farmington Elks Lodge 1765 has announced that the Farmington High School Student of the Month for April is Kaleigh Vinson.

The daughter of Cheryl and Jason Vinson, her honors and awards include being selected to the National Honor Society, FFA Green Thumb Award, a 1 rating in the 2019 Women’s Small Ensemble at District and qualifying for state contest, as well as being a member of the Acapella Choir and Choraliers performing groups that received a 1 rating at district contest.

Vinson is the public relations officer for the National Honor Society, and member of the FFA (2015-16), Girls Only Science Club (2016-19), Key Club (2016-17), cross country team (2015-18), track team (2015-18), Choraliers Choir, Acapella Choir and United Mentors.

Following graduation from high school, Vinson plans to attend BYU-Idaho and become a dermatologist. As Student of the Month, she will receive a $100 gift and compete for the Elks’ Farmington High School Student of the Year to be awarded next month.
