Roger ‘Mac’ Carl McWilliams
DESLOGE — Roger McWilliams, 74, of Park Hills, passed away April 18, 2019, at Barnes Hospital. He was born on May 3, 1944, in Esther to the late Frank and Mabel (Center) McWilliams. Roger was a mine surveyor with St. Joe Mine. He was in the Army National Guard Reserve for six years. He enjoyed fishing, turkey and deer hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and David McWilliams and sister, Martha Compton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley (Callahan) McWilliams; son, Gary McWilliams and wife Kim; two grandchildren, Taylor Clark and husband Michael, Justin McWilliams and wife Laynie; sister, Dottie Compton; mother-in-law, Dessie Callahan; brother-in-law, Garry Callahan along with other family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 21, 2019, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Missouri. Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019, in the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Pastor Michael Barton officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington.
