June Kay Hardesty
June Kay Hardesty, 81 of Creve Coeur, Missouri died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Evelyn House Care Center in Creve Coeur. She was born September 1, 1937 in Rockford, Illinois a daughter of Earl “Pete” and Gladys Marie (Wheeler) Adleman.
January 28, 1956 in Durand, Illinois she was united in marriage to Arthur Dale Hardesty who preceded her in death on December 4, 2015. Mrs. Hardesty’s parents and daughters Lori and Debra Hardesty also preceded her.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Connie and Gary Giltner of Post Falls, Idaho and Cathy and Richard Reichard; sister Shirley Adelman; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
June was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers, working crossword puzzles, traveling and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service may be held at a later date.
