Two seriously injured in crash

Two Desloge residents were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 67 at Meyer Road in Jefferson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, Alexa Selsor, 67, of De Soto, was driving a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan northbound and was attempting to make a left turn on Meyer Road with a steady green arrow signal when a southbound 2017 Ford Escape driven by Connie S. Ledbetter, 63, collided with the van in the intersection. The Escape overturned and went off the side of the roadway.

According to reports, Connie Ledbetter and her passenger, William H. Ledbetter, 54, were seriously injured and taken to Mercy Hospital South for treatment. William Ledbetter was not wearing a seat belt. 

A Potosi man was moderately injured in a crash on Route B near Loughboro Road in St. Francois County Monday morning.

According to reports, Tristen Skaggs, 20, was driving a 1993 Dodge Dakota when it traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. He was taken to Mercy Hospital South for treatment. He was not wearing a seat belt.
