FARMINGTON – Dwaine Pinkston, of Farmington, passed away April 21, 2022, in his home at the age of 65. He was born March 21, 1957, at Bonne Terre to Ernest L. and Rosetta (Eaton) Pinkston who survive.
Dwaine was married to his high school sweetheart, Vicki Matthews. Together they have three wonderful children and five wonderful grandchildren. Dwaine dedicated every moment of his life to his family. Anyone who knew him knew they could count on him. He left a lasting impression with everyone he met. He was the true definition of kind, he was thoughtful, generous, honest and a jokester. He never met a stranger and his sense of humor had a way of making everything better.
He also took great pleasure in fishing and hunting with his children and grandchildren. The old adage, “They don’t make them like they use to” was never more true. He was one of a kind and he will be greatly missed.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Vicki (Matthews) Pinkston; children, Megan Pinkston; Kortney (Gary) Nichols and Alex Pinkston; grandchildren, Annabelle, Aizley, Braxton, Remy and Brandon; siblings, Gary (Jackie) Pinkston and Pam Agnew; sister-in-law, Kathy (Tom) Donze; and brothers-in-law, Steven Matthews, Chris Matthews and Tom (Denise) McDermott. Also surviving are extended family and friends.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date for friends and family. Share your condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
