George August Bange
HILLSBORO, Mo. – George August Bange, age 84, passed away August 10, 2022, in Farmington, Missouri. George raised his family in Festus, Missouri, and later moved to French Village, Missouri, to enjoy his retirement years in the Goose Creek community.
Born January 1, 1938, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to parents, Frank and Alma Bange. George worked as a house painter and greatly enjoyed camping, grilling pork steaks, drinking cold beer, playing cards, shooting pool, and watching westerns.
George is survived by his wife of 55 years, “Mickey” Mary Bange; sons, Kevin Bange (Carol Gerlach) of De Soto, Missouri, Russ Bange (Patti Daugherty) of Park Hills, Missouri, and Chris Bange (Laura Leonard) of Hillsboro, Missouri; daughters, Pamela Hansen (Kirk) of Billings, Montana, and Becky de Tenley (Dave) of Cary, North Carolina; sisters, Barbara Nelson of Farmington, Missouri, Joyce Roth (Keith) of Columbia, Missouri, and Marilyn Bange (Jerry Cap) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
