DE SOTO – Thomas R Moon age, 82 of De Soto, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at his residence. He was born Thursday, July 18, 1940, in St. Louis, to the late Elmer K. and Eugenia E. (Thurman) Moon, Thomas also known as “Tom” or Mr. Moon. Tom was a retired English, Speech and Drama teacher as well as a musician. He played numerous instruments it came very natural to him. Outside of teaching Tom was also, technically talented at electronics, he loved to read, educated and learn.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom is survived by his sister Shirley Takatz; nephews, Mark, Scott and Steve Takatz. Tom will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
