Barbara Boyd

FARMINGTON – Barbara Boyd, 72, of Farmington, passed away February 15, 2023, at Camelot Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born June 7, 1950, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Eugene and Barbara Ann (Eveland) Greco. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Boyd; and sister, Judith Ann Greco.

Barbara had a career caring for others as an RN and Nursing Home Administrator. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington. She volunteered at the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry and spent time shopping and spoiling her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her children, Barbara Darlene (John “Buddy”) Davis of Cape Girardeau, Brian (Rikki) Boyd of Farmington, and Michael (Natalie) Boyd of Farmington; grandchildren, Danielle (James) Breckenridge, J.R. Davis, Natalie Davis, Luke Boyd, Zack Boyd, Ally Boyd, Scarlett Boyd; sister, Mary (Norman) Nolte of Katy, Texas.

A Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington with Rev. William Thess officiating, assisted by Deacon Mike Burch.
