We’re months from the opening week of the NFL season, but now is a perfect time to look ahead at 2023 AFC South futures odds.

Check out AFC South odds and our best bets below including a pick to win the division and a bet for each team.

2023 AFC South odds: Bet on Jaguars odds to win division?

Jacksonville is currently favored to win the division, and that shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone who’s been keeping up with the NFL. The Jaguars are the lone team not looking to trot out a rookie quarterback in the first week.

Here are the AFC South odds for the 2023 division title:

Jacksonville Jaguars AFC South odds (-160 or better)

The Jaguars took a step in the right direction last season and looked like a competent football team thanks in part to the strides made by quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

He’ll have a new target in Calvin Ridley this season to compliment Christian Kirk. Another viable option in the passing game, Ridley should elevate head coach Doug Pederson’s offense.

It’s hard to go against a team with a potential elite young quarterback in a division this weak, so we’d recommend laying the juice to back the Jags.

Tennessee Titans odds to win AFC South (+380 or better)

Mike Vrabel’s team will always be competitive — at least in the mix — to win the division. But with questions at quarterback, this doesn’t appear to be a season in which the Titans should be favored.

Many speculate that while Ryan Tannehill could start the season as the starter, rookie quarterback Will Levis will eventually take over at some point in 2023.

Indianapolis Colts AFC South odds (+500 or better)

The Colts will go as far as rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson will take them.

Richardson may surprise and look like the real deal right out of the gates, but his pre-draft analysis was that he was a raw prospect with high upside.

This could be a baptism-by-fire season for Richardson, so don’t expect the Colts to contend for a division title.

Houston Texans odds to win AFC South (+800 or better)

Much like the Colts, the Texans will be working with a first-year quarterback in CJ Stroud. Houston made a big move in the draft, selecting edge rusher Will Anderson with the pick right after Stroud.

Throw in promising running back Dameon Pierce and first-year head coach Demeco Ryans, there’s room for optimism. These odds are long, but are probably not worth a wager this season.

2023 AFC South picks: NFL win total predictions and more futures bets

There are more NFL future markets available than just odds to win the AFC South.

Jaguars win total picks: Under 9.5 wins (-150 or better)

The Jaguars have a tough schedule this season, facing the likes of Kansas City, Buffalo, San Francisco, Cincinnati and Baltimore.

Jacksonville will likely make quick work of its division, but a daunting slate outside of that will make it tough to surpass nine wins.

Tennessee Titans playoff odds (+245 or better)

Never say never on this team making the playoffs. Even with questions at quarterback, Tennessee could theoretically win the division.

If the Jags slip, the AFC South would likely be Tennessee’s to lose. But if not, Vrabel’s teams still advanced to three consecutive playoffs from 2019-2021 with average-at-best quarterback play.

Indianapolis Colts 2023 win total picks: Over 6.5 wins (-128 or better)

Twelve of the Colts’ 17 games come against teams that didn’t make the postseason in 2022.

The Colts will likely beat a team or two they shouldn’t on paper, while dropping one or two against a lesser opponent. But at a glance, it’s a favorable schedule.

2023 Houston Texans win total picks: Under 6.5 wins (-144 or better)

There’s no incentive for the Texans to lose in 2023, since they secured their quarterback of the future. But this team is still young and inexperienced, and it’s hard to see them going any better than 6-11 this season.
