Ste. Gen Commission to hold August 9 town hall

The Ste. Genevieve County Commission will be hosting a town hall beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, in the Progress Sports Complex conference room, 1300 Progress Parkway, in Ste. Genevieve.

The meeting will begin with remarks by Ste. Genevieve County commissioners Randy Ruzicka, Karen Stuppy and Mark Marberry, followed by reviews of Missouri’s 2023 legislative session by State Representative Rick Francis, R-Perryille, and State Senator Elaine Gannon, R-DeSoto.

Francis will discuss legislation from the House of Representatives and Gannon will speak about Senate legislation. A question-and-answer session will follow.

A town hall event sponsored by the Ste. Genevieve County Commission, featuring State Rep.
