U.S. 67 near Bonne Terre to get lights

SIKESTON— Drivers are being told to pay particular attention when driving on U.S. 67 in St. Francois County near Bonne Terre.

Missouri Department of Transportation will have contractor crews working on the shoulder to install roadside lighting. 

This section of highway is located near Orchard Road in Bonne Terre. 

Weather permitting, work will take place Friday, Aug. 4, through Friday, Aug. 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.   

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
