Farmington residents still without power asked to contact city

City residents still without power after Wednesday’s storms are asked to contact the city.

After Wednesday’s storms, many Farmington residents are still without power. Electric Department Manager Bruce Belvin is asking those still without power to contact the Development Services office. This will help the electric department crews troubleshoot causes and formulate solutions.

“The main feeds that were out of service have been repaired, and most customers have their power restored. We believe there may be as many as 70 customers still without power at this time. We want to verify this number and adjust it if needed,” said Development Service Director Tim Porter.

If you live within the city limits of Farmington and are still without power, call the Development Services office at 573-756-0608. Because the office may be experiencing a high volume of calls, leave a brief message with your name, address, contact phone number, and any other pertinent information.
